We are happy to announce that you can shop for a 2022 Chevy Equinox for sale at Bacon Chevrolet. To help motorists with determining whether or not the new 2022 Equinox is the right vehicle for their needs, here is our list of two of the Chevy SUV's standout features. 2022 Chevy Equinox Top Features 1. Consistent Performance One feature that stands out about the 2022 Equinox is its consistent performance. Many vehicles have an array of trim options that can impact the performance of a given vehicle model. While the 2022 Equinox is available in several trims, Chevrolet has decided to do away with the previous Equinox model's optional 2-liter engine. Instead, the previous Equinox model's 170-horsepower 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and is now standard across all 2022 Equinox trims. This change results in an Equinox ecosystem that enables Equinox enthusiasts to enjoy a consistent vehicle performance experience no matter which Equinox trim they choose. Simplifying the engine options also simplifies the buying process as you search for a new SUV. As a compact crossover SUV, these qualities are quite unusual compared to the Equinox's competitors, granting it a unique position that enables it to stand out. 2. Luxurious Options Another standout feature of the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox is its array of luxurious features available across its various trims. The 2022 Equinox features a brand-new front and rear design that grants it a stylish appearance. The LT trim grants Equinox owners’ access to an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, while the optional Confidence and Convenience package features dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The RS trim, that you can find with the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, takes things further with a unique shift knob, red stitching, and black trim and upholstery. At the high end of the Equinox's options lies its Premier trim, which features French stitching and gloss-black trim on its interior console. Each of these features adds a luxurious appeal to the vehicle that is absent in typical compact SUVs, enabling the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox to stand out from the competition.
