It’s hard to think of any food more perfect than a sandwich. There’s plenty of room to stretch out in air-conditioned comfort in your Chevy Silverado 2500, so when you need a break from work, visit one of these sandwich places here in Frankston, TX that we love.

Three Favorite Sandwich Places Near Frankston, TX

Milano’s Pizza

Yes, this is a pizza place, but their sandwiches are very good. They are located at 114 W Main St and open from 11 AM until 9 PM most days, and until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday for that late-night sandwich fix. Of course, you can get great pizza and calzones here, but if that’s all you ever have tried, try a sandwich this time.

We love their all-meat sandwich, which comes with beef, sausage, ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, and creamy Italian dressing. The meatball is also out of this world, and everyone loves their buffalo chicken, which comes with grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, and buffalo sauce. Try their chef salad to go with it or their parmesan puffs. These delightful little puffed dough balls are absolutely covered in cheese and garlic butter, and they are the perfect side for any sandwich.

Windmill Cafe on the Square

At 270 S Commerce St., this place opens up bright and early at 6 AM and closes at 8 PM every day but Sunday, when they close early at 3 PM. As you can imagine, this is a great place for breakfast, but you also need to stop by for one of their signature sandwiches. Start out with an appetizer of their back porch fries, which comes with smoky brisket, shredded cheese, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, and jalapenos. Then, move on to the main event.

We recommend their Brisket Grilled Cheese: it’s served on toasted sourdough bread, and you’ll never be the same after this one. The Farmer’s BLT comes with the most amazing smoked bacon, and we also really enjoy the Auntie’s Chicken Salad sandwich, which comes with mayo, apples, cranberries, pecans, and chicken, all on toasted sourdough. You can also get sandwiches of all their BBQ meats, like chopped brisket, red hot links, turkey, and lots more.

Spring Market

Yes, Spring Market is a store, but if what you want is a fast and delicious sandwich, you need to try this place. They have some really great options. You’ll find the market at 440 Pine St, and they open from 7 AM to 9 PM daily.

The best thing here is the Market Italian Style Sub. It comes with spicy ham, provolone, cotton salami, pepperoni, and a delicious parmesan and herb roll. If that doesn’t float your boat, their smoked ham and cheese on a rustic oat wheat bread will make you think of the most delicious homemade sandwiches. They also have a nice smoked turkey and cheddar.

These are three great places where you can swing by and get a fast but delicious bite: or, stop for a bit and enjoy a great appetizer with your sandwich. When you’re full, come see us at Bacon Chevrolet for the best service on your Chevrolet anywhere in the state.
