Open year-round between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Mission Tejas State Park is a scenic reserve located about 55 miles south of the Frankston city center. Some of the main features you can find here include a commemorative replica of the first Spanish mission in Texas, as well as a section of the El Camino Real de los Tejas trail.

Covering about 660 acres, Mission Tejas State Park was established in 1957 and can be reached in less than one hour by car via routes US-175 and US-69. 3. Fort Boggy State Park

Welcoming over 13,000 visitors each year, this place features extensive wetlands, rolling hills, and meadows. Getting here from the Frankston city center takes about one hour and 15 minutes via State Highway 155 and route US-79.
