Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Corvette E-Ray is available in three trim levels: 1LZ, 2LZ, and 3LZ. Each trim is available as a hardtop or a convertible, and each trim enhances the classic sporty Corvette look. The accessory visible carbon-fiber spoiler, carbon flash metallic-painted carbon-fiber ground effects, accessory visible carbon-fiber mirrors, and black exhaust tips make sure of that. You can customize your E-Ray with full-length racing stripes, stinger stripes, and accessory Jake rear hash graphics. Engine (Power)
Considering this is the first Corvette to get an electrified upgrade, the natural question is what's under the hood. On the gas-powered side, you've got a 6.2-liter V-8 engine straight out of the Stingray that produces 495 horsepower with its eight-speed automatic transmission. On the electric side, you've got an electric motor that produces 160 horsepower. These combine to make a mind-blowing 655 horsepower. In addition, the E-Ray comes with a 1.1-kWh battery for short-distance all-electric driving.
Performance
The natural follow-up question is what can that powertrain do? Strap in because the E-Ray has the quickest acceleration yet, going from zero to 60 mph in no more than 2.5 seconds. The electrified all-wheel drive lets you take this supercar anywhere in any weather conditions. That's thanks to the C8.R race car and Les Mans prototypes used for inspiration. And while carbon ceramic brakes come standard, opting for the ZER Performance Package gets you high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S ZP summer-only tires and chassis tuning.
Interior
This Corvette's interior is unlike anything you'll see out there. The command center features a 12-inch customizable gauge display and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display that also shows you vehicle and performance details. The driver's seat is sectioned off, with the infotainment screen turned toward it instead of sitting squarely in the middle of the dashboard. You can even opt for a Performance Data Recorder for you to analyze your driving. Other impressive features include a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series system, Head-Up Display, wireless device charging, a removable roof panel, and HD front and rear vision cameras.
Safety Features
The E-Ray has many standard safety features, including rear parking assist sensors, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assistance. You can opt for more features like blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic warning. Does your teen want to take the car for a spin? This model comes with Teen Driver technology, which allows parents to monitor the use of the car and utilizes additional safety functions like muting the stereo and not shifting out of park until the driver is buckled in. Even further, parents can lower the max speed to 85 mph and set warnings for specific speed limits.
