Trim Levels (Exterior)
With the new Blazer EV, you'll have access to four different trim levels, and they all have their own unique exterior features to consider. It all starts with the 1LT base-level trim, which already comes equipped with 19-inch wheels for that extra bit of style.
If you're looking for an exterior upgrade, consider the 2LT trim, which offers a greater battery capacity while still maintaining its sleek appearance. Meanwhile, the RS trim upgrades the wheels to 21 inches and includes a black-painted grille panel and lower fascia. Finally, the SS trim boasts stunning 22-inch wheels with an expert multi-finish.
Engine (Power)
While we aren't quite sure yet what the base-level Blazer EV will offer in terms of engine power, Chevy has released the numbers for its stunning SS model, and they are impressive. At this trim level, the electric powertrain is capable of producing an astounding 557 horsepower and 648 pound-feet of torque. It comes paired with an all-wheel-drive system, so it's easy to seize control of all that power.
Performance
As you can probably imagine, the Blazer EV's performance is most impressive at the SS trim level, which can travel from zero to 60 mph in just four seconds. In terms of battery life, though, the SS isn't the best trim with its estimated range of 293 miles. The RS model is the most efficient with a range of 320 miles. Meanwhile, the 1LT trim offers a 247-mile range and the 2LT trim gets 293 miles per charge.
Interior
The inside of the electric Blazer is sportier than you might expect, with sleek designs and generous legroom in the front and the back. Plus, you get an 11-inch driver information center and a 17.7-inch touch-screen display straight from the base-level trim, so you'll never have to go out of your way for the latest infotainment technology. Of course, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included as well, in addition to a navigation system. The aesthetic of the interior is also quite impressive, with a variety of color options available including a stylish red and black two-tone setup.
Safety Features
Much like the rest of the Chevy Blazer EV's technology, its safety features are state of the art. One of the most notable available features is the Super Cruise system, which is a kind of advanced cruise control. This system allows you to enjoy the freedom of hands-free driving through approximately 400,000 miles of mapped roads. Additionally, you'll find driver assistance features like front pedestrian braking, automatic emergency braking, and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. This is all part of the standard Chevy Safety Assist system.
