Six trims are offered for the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe: LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. The entry-level LS sits atop 18-inch wheels, and features LED headlights. Engine (Power)
Three engine options are offered for the 2022 Chevy Tahoe. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V-8 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission putting out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. Optional for the RST, Z71, and Premier, the standard powerplant for the High Country is a 6.2-liter V-8 that delivers 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. An optional turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque is available for all but the Z71 trim.
Performance
For all trims but the Z71, the standard drivetrain is a front-wheel drive system. For inclement weather and rougher terrain, the Z71 adds an all-wheel drive as its standard drivetrain, making it an option for the other trims. Other standard features include hill start assist and hitch guidance. Depending on your configuration, the maximum towing capacity for the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe is 8,400 pounds when properly equipped.
Interior
Starting at the base LS, standard interior features include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as eight-passenger seating. As you climb up in trims, there is an available 10-speaker Bose sound system, a 10.2-inch touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, heated front seats, driver's seat memory settings, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and leather upholstery.
